Although it has been available for years, the natural benefits of coconut milk oil have only recently come to the attention of most health-conscious consumers. Ironically, while consumers have been searching for a healthy alternative to hydrogenated oil for years, a simple natural solution has been in the offing all along. Fortunately, coconut milk oil is finally beginning to get the attention it deserves.

When people first learn about coconut oil's health benefits, they are often astounded. The fact is, coconut oil has been shown to reduce infections, help control diabetes, and help prevent everything from heart disease to premature wrinkling to cancer. And all of this in a cholesterol-neutral oil that can be substituted for vegetable oil or shortening in virtually any situation.

Different Ways of Producing Coconut Milk Oil

While the benefits of coconut oil have become better-known, the differences between them have remained largely undiscussed. This is not a coincidence. After all, with so many manufacturers producing coconut oil through processes that include bleaching, refining, and deodorizing, it's no wonder that they have attempted to mask the differences between their products and healthier alternatives.

All coconut oils are not equal. Oil that has been produced by cold pressing and distilled by centrifuge, rather than high heat and other unnatural processes, retains far more of the nutrients which make it so powerful in the first place. When it comes to the health of yourself and your family, there is no reason to settle for anything but the best.
