Colonic Irrigation

Colonic irrigation is just another term for colon cleansing, or colonic hydrotherapy as it is also sometimes called. The process involves progressive flushing of water through the colon, which is actually the five feet at the very end of the digestive tract. The purpose of the flushing is to ensure complete elimination of stored fecal matter and toxins.

Rid Your Body of Toxins with Colonic Irrigation

Colonic irrigation is one of the most effective ways of getting the body to rid itself of stored toxins in the body cells. Once the colon is empty and clean, the rest of the body will take the cue and begin throwing off impurities that can now be passed out of the body through the colon. It is so effective that if someone takes a session of colonic irrigation and at the same time follows a cleansing diet, such as just fruit and vegetables, or juice, they will be likely to suffer headaches and nausea which are the result of the body cells throwing off toxins at an alarming rate. These symptoms will cease, leaving the user with more energy and a feeling of greater well-being.

To be most effective, colonic irrigation has to be performed in the best way. That is, using only purified water that doesn't contain any chemicals or harmful additives, for one thing. Performing a colon cleanse with chlorinated water will only further irritate the gut lining, and will add just one more chemical for the body, and especially the overworked liver, to cope with.

If you have been suffering from any degree of constipation, your system is toxic. There are ways to get your system working and detoxified using other methods, but colonic irrigation is fast and reliable, and absolutely safe. If you've only just realized that you probably have a toxic system, and you want to address the problem in the shortest way possible, then you will want to consider a course of colon cleanses to give your body a bit of a push in the right direction.
