Toxins

Toxins are an unavoidable fact of life in today's times. Our bodies can toxify themselves--as in the case of a toxic bowel, which begins to sicken the rest of the body. Even if you make a conscientious effort to lead a toxic-free lifestyle--eating organic foods, drinking purified water, avoiding household chemical products, never smoking or doing drugs--toxic substances will still find their way into your life, and into your body.

Toxins are in the air we breathe. They're in our dry-cleaned clothes, the new carpeting, the fabric of our car seats. Unless we're Howard Hughes, we simply can't control down to the minutest detail everything that enters our world. Besides, it's a horrible way to live!

Getting Rid of Toxins

This is not to say that our efforts to lead a healthy lifestyle are worthless. On the contrary, we will no doubt reap the benefit of our vigilance in longer, healthier and more enjoyable lives. However, the issue becomes how to best go about ridding our bodies of toxins, rather than obsessing over an impossible goal of remaining out of their reach. Internal cleansing is painless and effective, and can easily become part of our periodic health routine.

A very popular internal cleansing method is the colon cleanse. This is a do-it-yourself, non-invasive and extremely easy way to clean your digestive system from the inside out. The cleanse is taken orally in the form of a shake, and it goes to work on the entire tract, from stomach to small to large intestine. Every bit of putrid food, compacted, toxic mucous matter, pesticides, drugs and harmful chemicals, and other junk is scrubbed from the intestinal walls and pushed out of the body as waste, leaving you feeling younger, healthier, and full of energy.
