A bad breath cure may be hard to pinpoint, but there are several ways in which to improve the current state of your breath. Previously we have mentioned that brushing and flossing regularly can help eliminate unwanted odor. Additionally, drinking water and eliminating tobacco from your habits can greatly improve your breath.

A Sign of Disease

If you have tried these measures and are still haunted with bad breath, you may have a more serious problem. Constant bad breath can be a sign of gum disease. This is caused by the build up of plaque that goes untouched in your mouth.

Eventually this plaque and bacteria starts to affect your gums. If left untreated both your gums and jaw bone will be affected. If you suspect you may be a victim of gum disease, contact your dentist immediately.

Ask Your Dentist about a Bad Breath Cure

Your bad breath cure may be as easy as a new dental appliance. Often times, poorly fitted devices leave room for food and bacteria to build up. Cleaning your dentures each morning and evening is crucial to keep your breath smelling fresh. Have a professional look at your dental work to make sure everything is working as it should be.
