Natural health products have gained significant attention in recent years. Many individuals have been turning to natural remedies as an alternative to pharmacological medications. While these natural health products have been shown to deliver the same results as prescription meds, in some situations, they lack the side effects that make those medications unattractive to many patients.

Another place to look for natural health products is in vitamins. Whether through diet or through vitamin supplements, certain vitamins should be ingested regularly in order to foster positive psychiatric health. One group of vitamins in particular, B-complex, is proven to be closely linked to neurological well-being. Deficiencies in B-complex vitamins in the body have been connected to depression, fatigue, slowed mental and physical acuity, distractibility, disorientation, and even psychosis. Because these vitamins cannot be stored by the body, they must be constantly replenished via a daily diet. In addition, B-complex vitamins are destroyed by things like caffeine, refined sugar, alcohol, and nicotine, so it is important to keep them as a regular part of your diet.
