Rapid detoxification is a method that has to be monitored closely to avoid having complications. It is quite often used to get a 'jump start' on cleansing the body, which is fine, if it is done with care. Fasting is one of the quickest ways to detoxify the body and start the healing process. It is necessary to supervise closely anyone with a severe toxic condition since the number of toxins will increase in the body as they are being released to be removed from the body.

Facilitate the Healing Process

There are other therapies that contribute to quickly detoxifying the body of harmful toxins. Sweating is one of those means and it is done in saunas, therapeutic baths, and with exercise. By sweating the body releases toxins that are stored under the skin in fat cells. Massage therapy and acupressure may also be indicated in rapid detoxification. A complete evaluation of your body systems will give direction as to how quickly you can experience detoxification without the uncomfortable side effects that are possible.

Watch for Signs of Rapid Detoxification

There are side effects to be on the lookout for during detox. These can include being extremely tired, depression, body aches, allergies, headaches, and flu-like symptoms. It is accepted that this most likely occurs because of the release of toxins in the body causing an increased level due to elimination and cleansing. Reducing the speed of detoxification efforts can help reduce the unwanted side effects.
