Water detoxification is one of the oldest methods of healing and has been around for hundreds of years. Conventional medicine has confirmed that the pollutants of the environment contribute to many illnesses and diseases. It is estimated that 25% of the population suffers from some level of heavy metal poisoning. With all the synthetic agriculture chemicals that are being used, it is easy to understand how so much is consumed.

Water Detoxification for Quick Results

Detoxification is a process that removes the toxins from the body, thereby giving the body a better chance to work at optimal health. Many treatment centers recommend a water fast initially to quickly cleanse the body from the substances that are harmful. This is usually supplemented with herbs to help maintain a proper electrolyte balance in the body.

During a water fast it is commonly recommended that you rest and do as little as possible. If detoxification occurs too rapidly, there may be side effects such as headaches, fatigue, malaise, aches and pains, and flu-like symptoms. It is important to be monitored closely with this type of fast.

Get on the Road to Good Health
