Folding Treadmills

Folding treadmills are convenient for walkers and joggers who don't want bulky fitness equipment in their homes. Some people prefer to exercise outdoors, but they don't want to run in adverse weather. For this reason, they keep spare treadmills that can be stored away when not in use. These compact treadmills fit underneath beds and in closets. Moreover, for maneuverability, they weigh considerably less than other treadmills.

People run on treadmills to improve cardiovascular strength, tone legs, and burn calories. Running and walking causes hearts to pump faster. When people's hearts beat quickly for extended periods of time, they become stronger. People who have strong heart muscles lead healthier and longer lives.

It's no coincidence that female cross-country runners all seem to have firm, toned legs. Similarly, not many male runners have beer bellies, because running keeps people physically fit. People who want to train in their homes often buy folding treadmills so they can watch television or listen to their favorite music while working out.

Adjustable Difficulty on Folding Treadmills

For difficult workouts, people can adjust the incline settings on their folding treadmills. Doing so replicates the exercise people get while running uphill. By increasing the difficulty of their workouts, people burn calories faster and strengthen their muscles.
