We go from our cars, to the elevator, to our desks, where we sit for 8 hours all day. Then we get back in the car, travel through the drive-thru at McDonald's and pick up a high fat dinner for the family. After dinner, we lay on the couch or sit behind our personal computers and answer email messages.

A sedentary lifestyle is as much to blame for our overweight nation as poor diet choices. Fat loss diet programs that are successful address this issue and take steps to correct it. A good diet programs should include a nutritionally balanced diet, and a regular exercise program.
