Male hair loss occurs in men of all ages. Most people associate baldness with old age so it can be very frustrating when you find the hair leaving your head when you're still youthful and vibrant. Scientifically known as adrogenetic alopecia, male hair loss is very common; however, there are solutions that can put the hair back on your head.

Solutions to Male Hair Loss

Hair pieces have been around for decades as a way to cover a bald or balding head. Made out of either real hair or synthetic hair, hair pieces generally attach to the scalp via a bonding adhesive. Some hair pieces just rest on the head; however, these pieces can easily fall off the scalp which can be an embarrassing incident.

There are also oral medications which work to slow the balding process. We often see advertisements for these medications on television and in magazines. Over time, they have been shown to slow the hair loss process.

Some men choose to opt for a surgical method such as hair transplants. These often provide very natural-looking results; however, surgery is a big decision. Whatever method you choose to treat your male hair loss, you want to make sure you have enough information before you begin the process.
