Lab results employment drug screening tests are made to strengthen the trust and reliability of each employee to another. No matter what the situation, within the workplace a tight chain of dependence is formed. This chain, to use the old metaphor, is only as strong as its weakest link.

Workplace drug screening, or even employment drug testing, can save lives. This is especially true if the nature of the work is either physically or intellectually dangerous. No one in the workplace would wish to work in an environment where their fellow employees could be working with heavy machinery or handling important, volatile documents while high on drugs.

Lab Results Employment Drug Screening Methods

There are several ways an employer can organize lab tests for drugs. He or she can hire a company to arrive at the business and draw blood from each employee. However, this method can be costly, time consuming, and invasive of individual employee's privacy.

Another method to provide lab results employment drug screening is to contact an outside lab to send the employee to. A clinic in his or her area is bound to be able to draw blood and have it mailed to the lab. The employer can then call for the results when they are ready.
