If you are considering using a Canadian online pharmacy, take a moment to consider a few points. Although there are many legitimate online pharmacies selling Canadian drugs at considerably reduced prices, just as many companies are on the Web pulling scams every day. There are some steps you can take to ensure that you do not get ripped off when ordering your prescriptions online.

First, check to see if the pharmacy you are considering using is a member of the Canadian International Pharmacy Association (CIPA). If not, move on and keep searching until you find a pharmacy that is. Second, any pharmacy that claims it will fill prescriptions without a doctor’s written authorization to do so is not legitimate. It is illegal for any pharmacy to fill a prescription without a licensed doctor’s authorization; this is a red flag that should signal you to look elsewhere.

Third, any Canadian online pharmacy that claims they will fill narcotics should be avoided. Again, it is not legal for pharmacies to fill such prescriptions online. Any pharmacy that claims it can and will do this should be avoided at all costs. You only want to deal with reputable pharmacies that work with licensed pharmacists, as this guarantees you are not going to get ripped off.
