In this fast paced world we live in, it's no wonder that the trend towards consuming stimulants in the form of energy drinks and bars is exploding. Quick energy boosts can be found in sugar and caffeine. Energy drinks provide a quick boost, or a cup of coffee in the morning gives the body a turbo boost.

Recently, suppliers of nutraceutical products have realized that there are only so many energy drinks or bars that people will buy. They understand that sex sells, and what better way to capitalize on that theory but to sell sex-related products. For thousands of years, people have been enthralled by all kinds of products touted to promote better sex and stronger sex drives.

We've seen all the ads for men's erectile problems. That sector of the nutraceutical market seems tapped out. An emerging sector is the group of men and women who are not sexually dysfunctional--just in need of a "boost!" There is a wide range of herbal products promising more stamina, more libido, bigger erections and more satisfying orgasms.

The Media and Nutraceuticals

We are living in a world in which people are denying the aging process by undergoing different procedures. These days, people will undergo liposuction rather than eat less and exercise more. The media projects an image of the perfect person onto our computer or television screens. That perfect person must also have the perfect sexual drive and performance, and there might just be the perfect herbal stimulant to assist you in reaching your sexual goals.
