Hollywood Spa Facials

Hollywood spa facials are much more effective if you practice proper skin care at home. It isn't too terribly difficult. You just have to know a little bit about your own skin in order to purchase the correct products. Even if you have perfect skin, there are certain measures you should be taking now in order to ensure healthy skin as you grow older. If you have any kind of skin conditions, you should see a dermatologist before using products.

The basic daily skin care routine should consist of cleansing, toning and moisturizing. First, you will need to figure out what type of skin you have. This shouldn't be too hard. There is oily skin, dry skin, normal skin and T-zone. The T-zone consists of your forehead and down your nose and chin, thus creating the letter 'T'. This tends to be oilier than the rest of the face for some people. When you get Hollywood spa facials, let your therapist know what kind of skin you have.

Once you have figured that out, notice if you have sensitive skin. Do you burn easily? Do you have naturally reddish skin? Does your skin react unfavorably to certain foods or drinks? If so, look for skin care products that say they are for sensitive skin. Also, make sure you don't share make-up. If specific foods or drinks seem to be a problem, try to cut back on them or cut them out completely.

Beyond Hollywood Spa Facials

For ongoing care, make sure your moisturizer has an SPF of at least 15, even in the winter. The sun is still out even if you aren't sitting directly in its way. Try to exfoliate once a week. You can get a good exfoliator from a drug store or a beauty supply store. At a beauty store, the employees are more likely to be able to help you find what will best suit you. If you can afford it, get a facial once a month or so. Hollywood spa facials will pull out impurities that you could never do on your own.
