Pampering yourself can be very affordable if you opt for spa packages. Just as ordering a complete dinner can cost less than choosing the same dishes off the a la carte menu, selecting a package of spa services can save money and maximize your enjoyment. You can find all sorts of combinations of services and amenities.

Choosing Spa Packages

If you can only spare a day or a few hours to treat yourself, you'll need to locate a day spa that offers a package of the services you want. Use an online day spa finder to find a spa in your area, and then look at the spa's Web site. It should describe what is included in different packages; options might include different types of massage, hair treatments, facials, body wraps and other spa treatments.

If you're traveling to a destination spa, you will undoubtedly want to stay overnight, if not for a few days or even longer. Accommodations and meals are generally included in the price of a package. Some packages also provide transportation to and from the nearest airport.

At a destination spa you're likely to find all the services a day spa offers and more, including, perhaps, hiking, cycling, meditation, cooking classes, and even golf or skiing. There are spa packages for couples, packages that offer an extra night free if you book a certain number of nights, and packages that include a take-home basket of spa products. Look online to find the perfect spa package for you!
