Stress Relief TipsWritten by James Lyons As you work to reduce and eventually (if it's possible) eliminate stress from your life, you should look at a few stress relief tips I've provided. First of all, please do not stress yourself out about all the choices available to help you manage your anxiety and panic. The irony is entirely too obvious, so realize this search should be enjoyable and life-affirming. Companies that provide stress management programs make billions of dollars every year largely because their techniques don't provide any sustained results. They keep you coming back, buying more and more of their product, preaching maintenance rather than rehabilitation and change. With that being mentioned, I would steer clear of the "quick fix" programs and products and look for the things that offer mental and physical enhancement. Some Specific Stress Relief TipsIn my experience, humor is one of the healthiest and most effective ways to deal with anxiety and stress. It's a natural remedy for anxiety, one that we are all innately blessed with and one that we use way too infrequently. Your body secretes natural endorphins when you have a good laugh which, for that funny moment, can reduce blood-pressure, heart rate and muscle tension. Prioritize, visualize, exercise, and celebrating are all excellent stress relief tips. Now, when I mention "celebrating," I don't necessarily mean getting inebriated at a bar or ingesting illicit drugs; in fact those things eventually add stress. I mean treat yourself to a job well done by running a nice bath or enjoying a nice meal or hiring a babysitter so you can spend the day at the spa.
