Dietary Supplements

A healthy diet can be made even healthier by taking dietary supplements. Have you ever read the nutrition information on a bottle of vitamin pills? Your body requires an astounding number of vitamins and minerals each day. Eating healthy foods alone rarely gives your body all the nutrients it needs, especially if you schedule exercise into your daily routine.

Dietary supplements ensure that your body has everything it needs and then some. How many people know exactly which foods provide the hundreds of minerals and vitamins your body requires? Not many. Dietary supplements are not a replacement for a healthy diet, but taking them does guarantee that your body has everything it needs.

Combating Free-Radicals with Dietary Supplements

Free-radicals are the byproduct of oxygen and exercise, and they actually damage bones and muscles. Isn't it terrible to think that your exercise program can actually be hindered by oxygen? Don't stop breathing during exercise. Make sure your body has plenty of antioxidants.

Antioxidants negate free-radicals before any damage is done. Green Tea and large portions of fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants, and you can also get antioxidants from dietary supplements. Vitamins A, C, and E are all excellent antioxidants.
