Non Gmo Soy

If you've been looking for a source of non GMO soy for your nutritional products, then you will have already been alerted to the possible dangers of genetically modified foods. It's quite possible that some of the furor at the moment will turn out to be completely unfounded. But since so many eminent scientists are coming out in favor of non GMO, then it's a fair assumption that sooner or later we may have to face the fact that genetically modified means dangerous.

Despite the insistence of official sources that we have nothing to fear from genetically modified food, nearly every week some news item surfaces, calling for a reconsideration of this area of modern food science. If you want to include soy in your diet, it makes sense at least for the time being to opt for non GMO soy while you can still find it. In case you're wondering why this last remark, let's elaborate a little.

Go For Non GMO Soy

If big business has its way, it could soon be impossible to find any grains except those that the food companies have designed for us. Once the seeds for these new foods are used extensively in agriculture, they will rapidly displace the non GMO varieties. The tragedy is that once this happens, it may well be too late for us to do anything about it. So if you like the idea of non GMO soy, and other varieties of non GMO foods, then support the producers and manufacturers as thoroughly as you can.

This means drawing attention to the issues of genetically modified foods with friends and family, and encouraging them to take part in your support movement for companies that still believe in giving us food as nature intended. It could yet be that we're proved wrong, and that GMO foods will prove useful to us. But so many experts have their doubts that I'm inclined to feel very uneasy about letting our non GMO sources go without a struggle. Non GMO soy could be the first to go, so make sure you support this endangered food source while you still can.
