Time release capsules use advanced Swiss technology to regulate the release of the contents of nutritional supplements to the body. A time release capsule is essentially made of up to 300 small pellets, each of which contains the active ingredient in the supplement. These miniature pills also have a protective membrane, which is what regulates the release of the active ingredient into the gastro-intestinal tract.
