Honeywell filters will provide a clean air environment for your home or office. Air purifiers and clean air systems have risen in popularity since the 1970s. Through the years, more efficient and affordable systems have been designed. Honeywell is a leader in air filters for reducing or eliminating most airborne contaminants. Paint fumes, cigarette smoke, mold, and other pollutants are captured and removed from the circulating air with a high MERV rated filter.

The MERV ratings are based on the standard set by ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) according to the size of particles captured. Small particles are 0.3 to 1.0 microns; medium particles are 1.0 to 3.0 microns; and large particles are 3.0 to 10.0 microns. A MERV 11 rating will capture the small particles including dust mites and pollen.

Learn about Honeywell Filters

Consider all the pollutants and contaminated particles inhaled in the 3,400 gallons of air every day by the average person. Indoor air constitutes more than 90 percent of most inhaled air. No air purifying system is capable of curing allergies or asthma, but breathing clean air is certainly a step in supporting good respiratory care. The HEPA filters in the Honeywell air purifiers filter out the tiny particles from 0.3 microns and larger with more than 99 percent capture.

Honeywell filters are available as a carbon pre-filter to reduce odors and remove large particles. This helps to extend the life of the HEPA filter by capturing many of the particulates before the air passes through the HEPA filter. A variety of filter media is available including pleated filters in several thicknesses.
