Blue Air Filters

When it comes to air pollution, most people think of smog. But did you know that indoor pollution can be two to five times higher than outdoor pollution? Americans spend approximately 90 percent of their time indoors, which exposes them to poor quality air that can lead to respiratory illness, asthma, and allergies. Blueair Air Purification Systems use a two-stage HEPASilent system to remove 99.97 percent of particles as small as 0.1 micron.

Blueair utilizes special HEPASilent smoke and particle filters to scrub air clean. High Efficiency Particle Air (HEPA) filters were originally used to filter radioactive material from the air. Imagine what that same technology can do with mold spores, dust mites, animal dander, smoke, or pollen. Plus, Blueair purifiers are virtually silent while they work.

The Blueair Air Purification System 601 is effective in rooms of up to 679 square feet. The fans and filters have been redesigned to further improve CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rates). For a smaller space such as a bedroom, the Blueair Air Purification System 501 and 402 work just as well, in rooms up to 550 or 365 square feet, respectively.

Blueair Filters--HEPA Technology at Its Best

The real workhorse at the center of any air purifier is the filter. Blueair's filters are specially designed to capture even the smallest particulates, and are quiet as well. But even the best filter can become clogged over time. When changed every year, however, Blueair filters offer the ultimate in clean indoor air for better health--check with your Blueair retailer to purchase replacement filters.
