Cuisinart Food Processor PartsWritten by Elisabeth Forsythe I personally love, love, love my Cuisinart Food Processor. I cook all the time, and it's perfect for grinding meat, pureeing sauces, or mixing up salsa or guacamole. I especially appreciate my slicer/shredder discs, since slicing vegetables or grating cheese by hand are probably my least favorite kitchen tasks. So when I moved last year, I was distressed (to say the least) to see that I had somehow lost all my discs! This is a common problem for Cuisinart lovers. Parts get lost or broken, and then what do you do? Buy a new processor? That is a great excuse to get the latest model, but it's not a practical solution for most. Luckily, there are many venues that sell genuine replacement parts for Cuisinart Food Processors, from discs and blades to pushers and pusher assemblies, work bowl covers--even the work bowls themselves! You can find these parts on the Internet, through appliance stores, and through Cuisinart itself. First, make sure they are genuine Cuisinart parts, as they will work best with your machine. Next, be sure of the make/model number of your machine, as parts vary from processor to processor. If you have an older machine, your needed part may no longer be manufactured. Check with the dealer--they can let you know if an equivalent part is available. Find Genuine Cuisinart Food Processor Parts
