Pregnancy can be a challenging time for many women. Whereas the women who came before you had to suffer in silence, modern technology has provided relief for a number of common ailments.

Perhaps one of the easiest things to address is the poor sleep that invariably accompanies the third term. With a growing belly and a bladder that feels constantly squished flat, it can be hard to find any nighttime relief. A good body pillow can allow you to rest comfortably on your side by providing support for both your belly and your lower back.

Most maternity models are horizontally shaped rather than long and vertical; however, it is possible to work with just about anything to get support along the spinal column. It may take some trial and error, but most women find pillows useful during the third term. Look for options that come with all natural, high thread-count covers so that the pillow can breathe easily and you don't find yourself getting hot.
