Tempur-pedic Beds

Tempur-pedic beds get their name from their unique sensory technology. The Tempur-pedic mattress responds to body temperature and pressure to conform flawlessly to the form of the particular individual resting atop it. This is what makes Swedish-designed Tempur-pedic mattresses unique in their field. They are also the only mattress originally designed for use by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Tempur-pedic beds are fundamentally different from conventional beds in a number of ways. For one thing, they are foam and not fiber based. Fiber-based mattresses feel comfortable and firm at first. However, they begin to compact almost immediately with use, gradually losing their resilience and support factor. They also compact unevenly, reflecting weight distribution patterns. Thus you may have compacted sections alongside normal sections, leading to unevenness.

Benefits of Tempur-Pedic Beds

Unevenness and loss of resilience spells trouble for your musculo-skeletal health, not to mention your sleep habits and general well being. Think of how much time you spend sleeping: for most people, it's at least one quarter of their lives. With this much time spent in the sleep state, it had better be beneficial, not detrimental, to your posture and sleep state.

Tempur-pedic beds provide the optimal sleep environment through the even weight distribution, support, and air flow ensured by their patented polyurethane foam design. The mattress is designed to completely absorb movement so that when you shift position, either awake or asleep, you don't jar or bounce as you would on other mattresses. These beds also come with high-quality cotton terry covers that are hypoallergenic and mite-resistant.
