The University of Chicago is located on the south side of the city, and offers 190 acres of beautiful trees, with access to Lake Michigan. The campus is famous for its imposing architecture, for which the students are justifiably proud. Student life at this campus is vibrant and intellectually-oriented, and every major requires rigorous academic discipline.

The University of Chicago has a world-wide reputation for the brilliance of both students and professors. Students at this university aren't consumed by academia, however; there is plenty of time for friendships and social events as well. The dorms on this campus are similar to those on every other college and university, in that they definitely require a personal touch before they can feel homey.

Dorm Life at the University of Chicago

Students who live in the dorms at this campus throw themselves into decorating their dorm rooms with a unique flair. Every student needs a place to call home. More and more students are finding that they can order their college room decor from affordable online retailers, which makes moving in much easier.

The University of Chicago, like other top universities, gives its students a lot to absorb and integrate during their years on campus. This is why a comfortable dorm is a must. A place for reflection and rest is as essential in Chicago as it is at Stanford University and Florida State University.
