Several architectural products are available that can be used to complement your interior design. Moldings and stair brackets are just some of the products at your disposal to add an extra touch of class and elegance to your home. While most people might think of adding end tables and paintings as the obvious way to decorate a room, some subtle additions to your home can be all that is necessary to achieve the effect that you want.

Different Architectural Products in Interior Design

There are several types of moldings that can be used to enhance your rooms. For example, crown moldings can draw your eye towards the ceiling of the room. If a room is fairly simple, an intricate crown molding can give it a character. You can also use the same moldings in all of your rooms in order to have a common design thread throughout home. This will allow each room to have its own unique style, while still being united with the others.

Another way to incorporate architectural products into your home design is by using stair brackets. These pieces are easily to install with adhesive to the side of the staircase. Rather than having a plain wall next to each step, applying stair brackets is an easy way to set your design apart. The eye will be led up the stairs by the continuity of the design rather than focusing on empty space.

Panel moldings are one of the most versatile architectural products that you can use. These can be applied to walls and ceilings or even doors to increase the perception of space. On a bare wall, they can also add an element of depth. Panel moldings can essentially serve as the frame for any other elements that are being used to decorate the room.
