Commercial Outdoor Furniture

Commercial outdoor furniture comes in all kinds of materials. You're probably familiar with the plastic stuff. Metal furniture, such as steel or wrought iron, is also common. Wood furniture is also an option for commercial outdoor furniture.

When deciding which material to choose, consider your clientele and how they'll react to that particular material. For example, if you have a relatively high-end clientele, plastic outdoor furniture would be disastrous, because plastic often means "cheap". The last thing you want to do is to offend your customer base!

More about Commercial Outdoor Furniture

Wrought iron outdoor furniture, such as for patio sets, is quite popular for restaurants and the like. Iron is heavy, durable, and denotes quality. However, the downfall of metal furniture is that it can really heat up in the summer sun.

The all-around winner for commercial outdoor furniture, in my opinion, is a high-quality, weather resistant wood such as teak. Teak outdoor furniture offers all the substance, durability, and classiness of wrought iron, yet its temperature stays neutral in the hot sun. Plus, its resistance to water damage is legendary.
