Patio Heaters

For the longest time, I thought patio fun ended when the chill of autumn blew in. Once I found out about patio heaters however, my family was able to enjoy our backyard deck all year round. I was intimidated at first. I was afraid they'd be too big and over heat the area, or be too small and make no difference.

Variety in Patio Heaters

Heaters for patios come in all shapes and sizes. They are not all as cumbersome as the ones you may have seen in the outside section of restaurants. You can definitely buy those. These models are for commercial or residential use and heat up to twenty feet in diameter.

There are so many different options when it comes to a patio heater. Our patio is about medium sized, so we didn't need the big ones that heat up to 20 feet diameters. They can cost several hundred dollars. I find much smaller models can get the job done too.

See How They Run

Some patio heaters use propane. Others plug into regular electrical outlets. Still others are completely portable and run on batteries. There's even a cool hanging heater that uses a quartz element. If you'd like to enjoy your patio throughout the year, keep looking around for a heater. I'm sure you'll find the one that's right for you.
