Teak Steamer

Teak steamers will keep you cool in the hot summer sun while you get that tan that you know you should be avoiding! Well, at least you're doing one good thing for your body: giving it rest and relaxation. There's no better way to do it than with a steamer chair made from 100% high-grade teak wood.

Why teak steamers? After all, there are certainly steamers available in less expensive woods that could almost pass as teak. The short answer is, you will be getting exactly what you pay for if you go for one of the "teak knock-off" woods.

Teak Steamers Vs. Other Woods

These teak "look-alike" woods include Shorea and other wood blends. They're meant to appeal to teak fans while taking money off the price tag. However, in the end, these woods don't end up saving you much at all.

Unlike these other woods, teak is the only truly weatherproof and insect-resistant wood. Shorea and other woods easily absorb water when rains come -- or when wet bathers sit directly on the wood - and begin to warp and split. Teak steamers, on the other hand, will last indefinitely through all kinds of climactic conditions.
