It mimics the human body by emitting carbon dioxide, heat, octenol attractants, and moisture that mosquitoes and other biting insects mistake for the exhaled breath of their prey. It is designed to attract, trap, and control biting insects such as mosquitoes, black flies, no-see-ums, sand flies, and midges.

The Mosquito Magnet™ Works 24 Hours a Day

By emitting carbon dioxide, heat, and moisture, it attracts biting insects while simultaneously vacuuming the insects into a net and/or trapping them on sticky paper where they dehydrate and die. It operates 24 hours a day, for up to 21 days on a single 20 lb. propane tank. It captures only female, egg-laying, biting insects. It protects up to one acre and is safe to use around pets and children.

These mosquito traps are extremely efficient in attracting, trapping, and killing mosquitoes and other blood-seeking insects. They attract female mosquitoes that are seeking a meal of blood to nourish their eggs. By removing the females, you also remove their eggs.
