The SkeeterVac™ provides outdoor mosquito control and improves living conditions during mosquito season by attracting, trapping and killing mosquitoes and other blood-seeking insects like no-see-ums, biting midges, black flies, and sand flies. There are no electric cords; it's powered exclusively by propane converted to electricity. Cordless operation means you can easily place it where you need it without any dangerous power cords to work with. Assembly is quick and requires no tools.

How the SkeeterVac™ Works

The Skeetervac's power source, propane, is converted to electricity to run the fan. The byproduct is CO2, a mosquito attractant, which is propelled out by the fan. In combination with octenol, another powerful attractant, and heat and moisture, SkeeterVac™ traps the insects on a sticky trap pad. Some models have a dual trap system. There are several models to choose from depending on the features you need and the size of the area you want to cover.

Unlike other insect control systems, it provides adjustable octenol output. Different species of mosquitoes and different environmental locations or conditions require varying amounts of octenol. Once you adjust it for your property, you will increase the catch rate.

The requisite propane tank is not included, so you will have to purchase one separately. For maintenance, you will need to refill the propane tank about once a month, replace the octenol bait every 2 months, and replace the sticky trap when mosquitoes cover about 80 percent of its surface. It comes with a 1 year warranty.
