Water Garden Ponds

Water garden ponds are simply beautiful. If you are lucky enough to have the yard space, I highly recommend building your own pond. A few years ago, my wife and I moved into our dream house. The best feature of the house was the back yard.

Finally, a Yard!

Plants that generate oxygen are certainly pleasant to look at, but, at least for me, water is more relaxing. Of course, as I designed my pond, I incorporated both elements. I don't know how I got along for so many years without my water garden pond. During the day, I have a serene retreat to sit near or just appreciate by looking through the window. At night, the underwater lighting creates a lovely, romantic environment.

Water garden ponds have grown in popularity in recent years, and with good reason. Life is stressful. That's just the raw fact of modern living. Obsessively checking e-mail, surviving traffic jams, and getting out from under heavy work loads wears on the body both mentally and physically.

Water Garden Ponds Promote Health

It may sound corny, but water garden ponds can improve health. When you physically work outside, you get fresh air. Exercise causes the body to release endorphins that help you feel good. Mentally, the sound of rushing water puts you at ease. The view of thriving plant life is invigorating. Combined, these factors help keep you happier.
