Water chemistry in your spa or pool must be kept within balance. Do not use too many chemicals or let the ph balance fluctuate. Following manufacturer cleaning directions exactly will also extend the life of your cartridge. Using a special chemical treatment to remove oils from the cartridge will also extend its useful life.
