Door To Door Storage

The idea of door to door storage is a relatively new concept. People were looking for other options because the traditional means of storage was too unreliable and too inconvenient. Many of the older companies burdened their clients with annoying restrictions and costly storage fees paving the way for more forward thinking companies to make some changes.

A few companies have paved the way for a more user friendly version of self storage. Americans today work harder and have less free time. We value our spare time as much or more than any other culture and would rather spend this time with friends, family, and other pursuits. The old way of providing self storage continues to be a massive business, but the new way is quickly gaining ground.

Door to Door Storage Paves the Way

Door to door storage gives customers more flexibility, more time, and more convenience. Renting and driving a trailer or a rig is stressful enough, especially if you are used to driving a small sedan. In addition, most people do not know how to properly pack a rig so items often times get damaged during transport. Door to door storage eliminates much of the hassle and risk associated with traditional storage.

A number of storage companies burden their customers with limited access hours. If a customer wants to access his or her belongings, they have to abide by their storage companies designated access hours, which may or may not work with their schedule. Door to door businesses typically allow their customers to access their items 24 hours a day.
