Backpack blowers are a great solution to your leaf blowing needs. If you've used a handheld blower to cover a lot of area, you're probably familiar with the kinds of problems those designs can present. Let's take a look at some of the advantages of using backpack blowers.

Advantages of Backpack Blowers for Leaf Removal

Handheld leaf blowers are usually pretty light, but even so, they can cause a lot of strain on the hands and wrists if you're using them for extended periods of time. When using a handheld blower, you usually have to switch hands every few minutes because your wrist starts to ache. This is not the way to go if you have a large piece of property that you have to work on.

Backpack blowers work by transferring the weight of the engine to an ergonomically designed backpack. You simply slip the blower over your shoulders like a normal backpack, and hold the blowing tube in your hand. The tube itself weighs almost nothing, and the weight of the blower's engine is comfortably distributed across your shoulders and back.

Because the weight of a backpack blower is better distributed, you can easily handle a heavier, higher-powered engine. If you're trying to cover a large area in a short amount of time, a more powerful engine can really help you out. Backpack blowers also allow you to be more maneuverable, since all you need to do is bend the tube or turn your body instead of spinning a heavy piece of machinery around with your wrists.
