Spray on cushioning foam can be used for a wide variety of jobs where it protects objects from being smashed or damaged during transit. The amount of goods that are damaged in transit on a yearly basis due to nothing more than vibrations and jolts is staggering. Spray on foam has proved the perfect answer to this dilemma for countless businesses. The wonderful thing about cushioning foam is that it is really cheap, super quick to use, and highly effective too.

Used as a spray on cushioning material for flatbed trucks, foam in place protective packaging can provide a soft and protective base for anything fragile. Next, once the crates are in position, you can also use foam in place to fill the gaps between the crates. This will keep all of your valuable cargo safe and sound until you reach your destination.

The kinds of items that regularly need ample cushioning in transit include precious domestic items such as furniture, or anything made from glass, ceramic and porcelain. Industrially, highly sensitive electrical units such as computers or TVs, and any kind of machinery pose the biggest headache. These are items that trigger significant losses whenever they are damaged in transit.

In fact, anything fragile that needs to be moved will benefit from the use of protective cushioning with spray on foam. It should be noted though, that spray on foam will stick, so it's essential to protect items with a layer of polythene or similar before they come into contact with foam. Using foam in place packaging rather than other materials can significantly reduce the cost of protective packaging for moving companies and their customers.
