Non-slip coatings are an excellent solution in large industrial or office areas where there is high traffic or frequent instances of spills. Garages, warehouses, hangars, hospitals and health clubs are but a few examples of places where preventing slips and falls is crucial. Every year slips, trips, and falls account for 15 percent of all accidental deaths, trailing only car accidents. For this reason and many more, careful attention to walking surfaces is important to homeowners, government agencies, and private businesses alike.

For the homeowner or small business owner, it may seem that applying non-slip coatings is a large-scale solution that is only applicable in a large setting. You may imagine having to buy these materials in five-gallon buckets and have four and a half gallons left over. This doesn't seem economical or practical. In these instances, anti-slip epoxy sprays are an excellent solution.

Epoxy Sprays: A Practical Solution for Small Businesses and Homeowners

Slip resistant epoxy sprays can be bought in small aerosol cans and applied easily. They will dry to a tough, durable textured surface that improves traction, particularly when surfaces are wet. Epoxy sprays are designed to adhere to a variety of surfaces, including concrete, steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and even tile.

Designed to be applied in smaller quantities, slip resistant epoxy sprays are perfect for such applications as steps, stairways, ladders and walkways. Ramps and loading docks are a perfect location to use these sprays, as well as public restrooms, diving boards, and pool decks. Gallon sizes are usually available if aerosol cans are not enough.
