Custom plastic injection molding can be expensive depending on the type of product that is being made. There are ways to cut cost, such as with materials and size of the product. Plastic is used frequently as a material because it is low cost and is versatile.

With custom plastic injection molding, quality is an important factor. It is important to pay attention to the design of the product and the mold where it is created. If there are uneven walls, or weld lines, the product may pose problems for the future.

Injection molding begins when the material is melted into liquid form. It is then poured into a specific mold. After cooling the product can be removed and may be coated with a shield for extra protection.
