Injection molding machines are often used for manufacturing parts. The machines can work with various types of materials, from steel to glass. Plastic is commonly used for molding because it is versatile and low in cost.

The injection molding process begins with melting the material. Then, the liquid is injected into a mold. After cooling, the part can be removed from the mold and the process may begin again.

Types of Injection Molding Machines

Large injection molding machines can be very expensive. However, they are necessary if your company needs to make a large amount of parts. The machines are quick and accurate in the molding process.

Smaller injection molding machines are available to make smaller and more intricate parts. They are known as micro molding machines. They are advantageous because they are less expensive and more accurate than the larger machines.
