An insert molder may be used in manufacturing parts. This process allows for an existing component to be manipulated with molding. A connector part can be inserted and molded into the component for insert molding.

Insert Molder Capabilities

An insert molder can be used for mass quantity orders and also for small custom orders. The process of manual insertion or automated insert molding can be used, depending on the size of your order. Inserts may also be monitored with optical sensors to ensure that they are in the proper molding position.

An insert molder can be created to make parts of any size or shape. You can make large pieces, or tiny thread-like inserts. You also have the choice of many different materials for insert molding.

Plastic is the most commonly used material for insert molding. It is desirable because it is versatile and also low in cost. Some types of plastic are very durable as well.
