Micro molding is used to manufacture miniature parts. Some companies create products that are so tiny; they are barely visible to the naked eye. Products can be made that weigh less than a gram, yet remain accurate in design.

Micro Molding Characteristics
Micro molding has many advantages over traditional injection molding. Since products are smaller, companies will save money on the cost of materials. The cost of tooling is also less expensive because the machines are smaller.

Micro molding can be seen in medical, electronic, telecommunication, and automotive industries. Equipment in these fields continues to miniaturize with technological advancements. Therefore, smaller parts are needed more and more as time passes.

Micro molded parts can be hand-made or made with a machine for high volume orders. You can design the parts to be used in any way. Components may be simple in design or may have more complex configurations in order to meet your product goals.
