Football stadium seating has come a long way since the first arenas were built. While bleacher seating is still the choice of many small high school and college football stadiums, today's modern pro football stadiums are being outfitted with stadium or chair seating. This gives the fan his or her own seat and a degree of comfort unheard of just a few decades ago.

Football Stadium Seating

Stadium seating is a solution to the problem of hard, uncomfortable bleacher seating. While bleachers are made of wood or steel, stadium chairs are made of solid plastic, contoured to fit the body. They come with or without backs, and have handy features such as cup holders and folding seats for better traffic flow. They are low maintenance and do not need painting.

Stadium seats can be portable, too. Fans can bring their own folding chair to be attached to a bleacher. Portable backless seats solve the problem of cold or wet bleachers, and can be strapped to a bleacher as well. Fixed seats are bolted to the floor or risers. An advantage of stadium seating is that it is individualized seating. The fan can keep his or her items handy and enjoy the game in comfort.

Stadium Seating For Fan Comfort

A comfortable fan stays longer and has a better experience. Football stadium seating that is designed to fit the contours of the body can make the difference to someone who is sitting for a long time. It is an option that many new stadiums are choosing, as stadiums owner give higher priority to the comfort of the fan.
