California Bar Exam ReviewWritten by Jill Morrison For a California Bar Exam Review, it is important to focus on the content and the format of the actual exam. The exam takes place over three days. Specific topics and testing formats are utilized on each particular day. On the first day, there are three hours of California essay questions and three hours of a California Performance test problem. On the second day, there are three hours of 100 multiple choice MBE questions and then another three hours of 100 multiple choice questions. The third day is the same format as the first day, with three hours of California Essays and three hours of a California Test Problem. Subjects to Focus on in a California Bar Exam ReviewOn the MBE portion of the exam, six subjects are tested. They are Constitutional Law, Contracts/Sales, Criminal Law/Procedure, Evidence, Real Property, and Torts. These subjects should be focused on in a California Bar Exam Review. In the essay and performance testing portion in the California Bar Exam Review, numerous subjects must be studied. They include Civil Procedure,Corporations, Remedies, Trusts and the six MBE subjects as well. Three subjects to specially focus on are Community Property, Professional Responsibility and Wills because they important in understanding California law.
