Florida Bar ReviewWritten by Jill Morrison When administering a Florida Bar Review, it is important to focus on the subject material and format of the Florida Bar Exam. The exam is given over two days and has two different portions. Topics of Focus for a Florida Bar ReviewThe first day of the exam is the essay portion. The second day is the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) portion. The essay portion focuses on Florida law and the MBE portion asks general law questions. Three essay questions are given in the essay portion. In a Florida Bar Review, subjects to study include Florida Civil and Criminal Procedure, Rules of Judicial Administration, Wills and Estates, Trusts, Business Entities, Family Law, and Professional Ethics. The MBE topics are also focused on in this portion. The MBE is given in every Bar Exam across the nation and focuses on general law questions. It is given on the second day and consists of 200 multiple choice questions. Subjects to study in a Florida Bar Review include Contracts and Sales, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law and Procedure, Evidence, Real Property, and Torts.
