Topics of Focus for a New York Bar Review

The exam is divided into two portions that should be focused on in a New York Bar Review. The first part is the New York portion. It is based on both procedural and substantive law. There are five essay questions, 50 multiple choice questions, and one Multistate Performance Test.

The second part of the exam is the Multistate Bar Examination portion. There are 200 multiple choice questions created by the National Conference of Bar Examiners. Subjects to study in a New York Bar review include Contracts and Torts, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Evidence, and Real Property.
