Company Logo Mugs

Do you own any mugs that have company logos on them? If so, did you do business with that company? Promotion can either be a powerful sales tool or a tremendous waste of time and money. Throwing your company logo on a few t-shirts won't do the trick unless your clients wear the t-shirts. Otherwise, the shirts will end up a thrift shop or the Salvation Army.

Company logo mugs are useful promotional tools. For over 50 years, companies have been printing their logos and corporate messages on the sides of drink mugs and coffee mugs. People will always drink coffee. If they don't drink coffee, then they probably drink some type of hot tea. Either way, they need mugs to put their beverages in. Early marketers realized this was a chance for them to provide an inexpensive, long-term form of promotion.

Logos and the Human Mind

Picking the right corporate promotional merchandise is secondary to picking the right logo and message. Believe it or not, a company's logo communicates a specific message to consumers. Businesses spend millions of dollars every year running focus groups whose participants offer their perceptions and opinions of company logos. The human mind is constantly assigning an interpretation to what it sees.

If you don't believe me, monitor your thoughts closely when you observe your surroundings. Your mind makes quick, snap judgments based on past experiences. You can't help it. This is what we do. This is why companies spend millions of dollars designing specific logos and millions more creating company logo mugs.
