Embroidered caps are appropriate for all sorts of casual occasions. You can wear them for outdoor activities, sports, or simply on days that you don't feel like styling your hair. Some types of work allow and even encourage their employees to wear caps as well. Sometimes, embroidered caps may be a part of a work uniform. However, most of the time, they are used as promotional items for advertising a business.

Customizing Embroidered Caps

Embroidered caps can also be customized for personal reasons. They make great gifts for any holiday or occasion. You can have caps embroidered with personal names or the names of businesses, sports teams, schools, and more. You can also embroider nearly any design onto a cap or other type of clothing item. So, if you are interested in printing a logo for a business or sports team, you can do that as well.

Typically, up to nine different colors can be used for embroidering caps. You can also use up to 7,500 stitches for any embroidery project. You will be charged for additional stitching if you request more than 7,500 stitches. Nearly any color of thread can be used for embroidery. In fact, you can often find many different shades of each thread color to choose from.

Many different types of caps can be embroidered for business promotion or personal wear. Popular cap colors include white, black, khaki, navy blue, dark green, and burgundy. You can find caps with different colors of visors and crowns as well. Most caps are made from cotton, but you can also embroider denim, suede, terry cloth, or twill caps. Six panel caps are the most common style for embroidered caps. Some other design choices include sewn eyelets, metal eyelets, brass buckle closures, Velcro closures, metal closures, matching sweatbands, and adjustable straps.
