Downtown Dallas apartments are among the priciest of all the places to live in the Dallas area. There is, however, a flip side to that coin. Downtown Dallas is also in the center of all the action. Downtown Dallas features many great restaurants, the most notable of which are the steakhouses. However, Dallas dining encompasses an international assortment of gourmet foods, ranging from Japanese to French and everything in between.

The Dallas Arts District is no further than a stone throw away from many Downtown Dallas apartments. The Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, the Dallas Museum of Art, and the Dallas Theater Center are all located in Downtown. In addition to being a center for the arts, Downtown Dallas is a shopping hotspot. Dallas is a very fashionable city with expensive tastes.

Downtown Dallas Apartments and Excitement

The other day, my father told me about his experience visiting Dallas on a business trip. Nolan Ryan, the all-time Major League Baseball record holder for both strikeouts and no-hitters, was pitching a no-hitter through five innings. My father was watching the game in a packed steakhouse, and there was not one person in the entire place who wasn't completely transfixed on the game. After each retired batter, the steakhouse patrons cheered as if they were at the game. When Ryan retired the final batter to clinch his seventh career no-hitter, the place erupted in pandemonium. My dad, who'd lived in Boston for sixteen Boston Celtics world championships, had never seen anything like it.

Downtown Dallas apartments are located in the center of this vibrant Texan metropolis. The heart of any city will always be a little more expensive than the outskirts. Being in the center of the action, however, is an experience impossible to put a price tag on.
