Folsom is one of Sacramento's very best residential areas. The oldest part of Folsom is the Historic District. This neighborhood features homes that date back to the time of the Gold Rush! If you are looking for an older home with lots of character, then this area on the American River is where you should start looking.

Beautiful Folsom Real Estate

Lexington Hills is a busy community that saw a lot of property development in the 1980s and early 1990s. It is an area where you will find some of the very best Folsom real estate. This is where beautiful Folsom lake is situated, so if you like fishing, that's the place to look for your dream home! If you'd like to live in an area where there are a lot of parks, then Natoma Station is the place for you. This area also grew considerably in the 1980s and has an abundance of recreation areas for your kids.

The Prairie Oaks, Willow Springs and Los Cerros areas of Folsom are all very beautiful. Again, there are many parks and walkways for those of you who enjoy a morning run. If shopping is your calling in life then Central Folsom is the place for you. This area was developed directly after World War II and is where all the shopping malls are situated.

Broadstone is a little more rural, and if you're looking for brand new Folsom real estate, is where you'll find the really nice new homes. Broadstone also boasts the Folsom Community College, and by 2005 the new Broadstone Mall should be complete. It promises to be a really great mall! Broadstone also has its own racket club and fitness center.
