Before you take the state exam for your Florida real estate license, it's a good idea to take advantage of the opportunity to complete one or more practice exams. Depending on which school you choose for your 63-hour pre-licensing course, you may have access to practice exams before you ever get to the exam site. While completing the hours of study is extremely important, there is nothing like having a good idea of what you will be facing on the actual exam to give you the confidence you need to succeed on your first try.

Florida Real Estate License Tests Tips

Because Florida real estate license tests are so important to applicants, many people find themselves in a very stressed condition the day of the test. Obviously, stress is not conducive to test taking, so you should be prepared well in advance. There are several ways to do this and some logistical issues you should address as well.

If the exam is in an unfamiliar city, you should try to visit to that city at least a few days before your test date. Your key goal on this trip will be to find out exactly where the exam is given, and, if it is in a large building, you should find out how to get to the specific room where you will be taking the test. Also, find out in advance exactly what materials you will be required to have with you and what aids are acceptable.

Florida Real Estate License Tests Format

Florida real estate license tests are comprised of 100 questions. You will be working on a computer, so if you need glasses, be sure to bring them with you. You must score at least 75 correct answers in order to pass the test. Your score will be calculated before you leave the test center. Finally, don't spend the night before the test cramming, and, if you live more than an hour or so from the test site, try to stay in a nearby hotel so that you will be sure to be on time.
